Friendly, adaptable and conscientious person required for 3 eventers, 1 hunter, a retiree and 2/3 children’s ponies. during the summer holidays there will be more help with the ponies. Owner has evented to 5* previously but now has younger horses and still actively competing. Must be capable of all yard duties, clipping, plaiting, pulling to a high standard. Nice horses kept separately on a rehab yard with other staff on site. Excellent facilities and hacking including a water treadmill and spa. I am around most of the time but away 1-2 days a week so you must be capable of hacking out and lunging fit horses. We have a recently refurbished 2 bed accommodation. Car owner essential. 5.5 days per week with Sunday off (unless competing in which case a day in lieu will be given) and a half day mid week to be arranged in advance. Present employee has been here for 3 years and is leaving to join the fire service!
