Do you have a passion for wildlife conservation and experience leading operational teams? Secret World Wildlife Rescue is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Wildlife Rehabilitation Supervisor to help lead our dedicated wildlife care and rescue operations.

Reporting to the Wildlife Care and Veterinary Services Manager, you will play a key role in supervising the daily operation of our wildlife care service, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare while leading and supporting a multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

As a Wildlife Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead and support the Wildlife Care Team, Response Drivers, Ambulance Drivers and volunteers.
  • Oversee the rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife from admission through to release.
  • Work closely with our Veterinary Team and Release Coordinator to ensure animals are rehabilitated and ready for release.
  • Coordinate daily rescue response activities and vehicle safety checks.
  • Manage staff rotas, sickness absence, overtime and team performance.
  • Oversee stock management, procurement and departmental budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, biosecurity and organisational policies.
  • Help drive continuous improvement and deliver exceptional standards of wildlife care.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience working in wildlife rehabilitation, animal welfare, veterinary or conservation environments.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience managing people, resources and operational priorities.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A full UK driving licence.
