We’re currently looking for an ambitious, hands-on Farm Manager to join us at The Wild Pig Farm in Stadhampton, Oxfordshire.
This is a rare opportunity to take real ownership of a 55-acre field-to-fork farm, where livestock farming sits alongside our butchery, farm shop, and café. We’re a fast-growing, progressive business passionate about provenance, animal welfare, and producing exceptional food from our own land.
We’re looking for someone practical, motivated, and genuinely passionate about livestock and sustainable farming. This is a varied and rewarding role working with a unique mix of animals including pigs, sheep, poultry, llamas, reindeer, wallabies, and more.
About the Role
You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the farm, including:
• Livestock management and welfare
• Grazing and pasture management
• Feeding programmes
• Health records and compliance
• Fencing, infrastructure, and maintenance
• Machinery operation and upkeep
• Supporting farm development and growth
• Working closely with our farm shop and hospitality teams to deliver our field-to-fork vision
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
• Passionate about farming and animal welfare
• Practical, organised, and self-motivated
• Confident working independently
• Comfortable managing multiple livestock species
• Looking for a long-term role with real responsibility
Essential
• Livestock experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Desirable
• Tractor/machinery experience
• Livestock qualifications
• Fencing and general farm maintenance skills
• Experience managing a small farm operation
