<p>The Assistant Species Recovery Officer role will be based in Somerset from our Cockercombe office, working both within Forestry England land and in the wider countryside. The post holder will work across southern England, and their primary task will be monitoring the birds that have already released from the Isle of Wight as well as those that have fledged from nests now established across southern England. The Assistant Species Recovery Officer will be assisting the Project Officer in all areas of their work, from engagement with groups and stakeholders about the project, to potentially being involved in releases in the future (subject to appropriate licencing).</p>

<p>Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint a Nature Based Solutions (NBS) Assistant.</p>
<p>The NBS Assistant will support the NBS & Planning Team to strategically identify, develop and deliver exemplar NBS activities to drive nature’s recovery across Yorkshire, drawing upon emerging best practices and markets, novel approaches and data / evidence.</p>

<p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Project Officer to join the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) Cymru/Wales team. The role will help to deliver practical conservation actions designed to improve Welsh Curlew breeding success and chick productivity.</p>

<p>We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Gwlad y Gylfinir project over three years. As an ambassador for Welsh Curlew, you will drive the project forward by engaging with farmers and rural communities, fostering community stewardship, and linking wider initiatives.</p>  

<p>Work base: The Trust’s activities cover Hertfordshire and the London Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield, Harrow and Hillingdon. The Trust’s offices are at Grebe House, St Albans, AL3 4SN</p>
<p>Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full time / Employment Term: Permanent</p>
<p>Salary: £38,977 (SCP 32) plus contribution to pension auto-enrolment</p>
<p>This role will lead and manage the Trust’s Landscapes Recovery team, working alongside the Rivers Recovery Manager, and a range of external partners to develop new funding mechanisms and facilitate delivery of nature recovery schemes at scale across Hertfordshire & Middlesex.</p>  

<p>Location: Primarily at our Headquarters in Kendal, with some on-site working required in line with the needs of the role.</p>
<p>Salary: £36,272 per annum, based on 35 hours per week (part-time hours will be considered with a minimum of 16 hours per week) plus pension contribution of 9% </p>
