We are currently seeking to recruit afull-time and a weekend stockperson, working with large animals, including horses, cattle, sheep, goats, wild boar, ostriches and pigs.
The successful canditate should possess:
- A genuine interest in animal welfare
- Animal husbandry qualification or experience of working with large animals
- Valid and current driving licence – essential
- Horse Box Driving experience and Trailer towing licence (B+E) – an advantage
- Experience of tractor driving – essential
- JCB licence – an advantage
- Practical hands-on, can do approach and hard-working approach to work
- Works effectively within a team
- Excellent time-keeping and attendance to work
- Able to work a rota shift pattern (40 hours a week in the winter season and 45 hours a week in the summer season), including working alternate weekends and occasional late shifts.
Part-time also considered.
Wage according to experience.
