We provide and promote the welfare, care and protection of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules. If you have experience in training horses, enjoy engaging with the general public and want to be part of the team that assists with the matching of our equines to potential guardians, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What will you do?
- Carry out all equine groundwork training in accordance with Redwings training policies.
- Ensure our horses have access to appropriate water, feed, and shelter, maintaining hygiene, and checking and cleaning paddocks.
- Supervise and evaluate riders (including children and/or adults at risk) during ridden trials.
- You will conduct visual health checks, administer prescribed medication, and assist in catching and holding nervous horses for the farrier and vet team.

What are we looking for from you?
- A competent handler of horses with proven abilities.
- Ability to deal with members of the public in a helpful and professional manner.
- A great communicator, both in person and on the phone.
- A full manual driving licence is essential
