We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Animal Keeper to join our Zoo-Farm team. This hands-on role involves providing excellent daily care to a wide variety of farm and zoo animals, maintaining high welfare standards, and helping create engaging experiences for our visitors.

Carry out daily animal health checks and administer treatments as required

Prepare and provide correct diets and fresh water

Maintain clean, safe, and well-presented enclosures and visitor areas

Keep accurate records (health, feeding, breeding, and medication)

Assist with breeding programmes and seasonal planning

Deliver talks, demonstrations, and animal interaction sessions

Ensure high standards of health and safety at all times
About You

Qualified in Animal Care/Animal Management (or similar)

Knowledgeable and passionate about animal welfare

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather

Confident communicating with visitors of all ages

Flexible and willing to work weekends and Bank Holidays

Full driving licence required
This is typically a 4–5 day per week position (including weekend day(s)), with flexibility required due to the seasonal nature of the tourism industry.
