Dumfries & Galloway Canine Rescue is looking for a dedicated, hardworking and compassionate individual to join our team as a Canine Welfare Assistant.

This is a hands-on role caring for dogs throughout their rescue journey. You’ll help provide daily care, enrichment, rehabilitation and support dogs as they prepare for their forever homes.

Glencaple, Dumfries

8am – 5pm, including a paid lunch break

3-4 days a week

£12.71 per hour

Working in rescue is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be physically and emotionally demanding. We’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and help care for dogs with a wide range of behavioural and welfare needs.
