Do you love horses, enjoy working outdoors and fancy joining our team?
We’re looking for an Equine Groom to help keep our small dressage livery yard running smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
- General yard duties, including mucking out, feeding and watering
- Exercising horses, including lunging and hacking
- Supporting livery clients
- Working alongside vets, farriers and other professionals
- Cleaning and caring for yard equipment and tack
- Checking fencing and maintaining field shelters
- Assisting at shows
What we’re looking for:
- At least 1 year’s experience working with equines
- Good knowledge of equine care and health needs
- Confident handling skills and a strong awareness of health & safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible, team focused attitude
- Good physical fitness – this is an active, hands-on role!
- Flexibility to work every other weekend and varied hours as required
The details:
Hours: 16–32 hours per week, including weekend work as required
Hourly rate: 16–17 years: £9.20 / 18–20 years: £10.85 / 21+: £12.75
