This is a senior position for a confident groomer who can complete grooms from start to finish across all breeds to a high standard, while also taking responsibility for the day to day running of the salon.

The role will include: 

• Grooming a minimum of 5 dogs per day (alone) or 6-8 with our grooming assistant to a consistently high standard
• Managing the salon diary and maximising appointment availability
• Supporting and managing the grooming team
• Maintaining excellent customer service and client relationships
• Managing stock, equipment, servicing and daily salon requirements
• Helping drive salon performance and sales
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and dog welfare
• Supporting and passing on grooming knowledge to trainee stylists as the salon continues to grow

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a professional grooming environment. A recognised grooming qualification is desirable, although strong proven experience will also be considered.

Our recently expanded salon is fully equipped with three electric grooming tables, two salon sized baths including a Pro Dog Hydro Bath, three Monster blaster/dryers, cordless Andis equipment and a built-in commercial air-conditioning system.
