Foal Farm is an independent animal rescue based in Biggin Hill. We are a registered charity and each year we rehome around 500 abandoned, abused and neglected dogs, cats and small animals. We also provide permanent sanctuary for up to 150 farm animals.

Hours: 16 hours / 4 mornings, 9am – 1pm
Contract: 6 Months FTC
Overall Objectives of the Role
- To care for our animals including all aspects of cleaning, feeding and enrichment
- Staying informed of developments relevant to the animals in your care
- Being observant of the welfare and behaviour of all animals in our care
- Helping with rehoming the animals in our care
- Working across all four of our animal teams (dogs, cats, large animals and small animals)

Person Specification
Essential
- Genuine compassion for animals and an understanding of our mission and ethos regarding animal welfare.
- Comfortable working with animals.
- A minimum level of fitness due to the physically demanding nature of the role.
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable
- Previous experience in animal care.
- Experience with caring for and rehoming rescued animals.
- Charity awareness.
